Video Description
This piece is an edited version of Sage Pathanjali’s Charana Shrunga Stotram.
“Oh Shambu, who destroyed the Tripura asuras. Oh Hara, the giver of boons! You are the one who granted true knowledge to sage Pathanjali. The remover of sins, the protector of all beings, You dance blissfully in Chidambaram. You kicked Yama, the god of Death, burned Kama, the embodiment of lust and desires, you are the One who cuts the bonds of worldly bondages. You are the compassionate one to the downtrodden, you are the treasure-house of incomparable virtues, the embodiment of truth, consciousness, and bliss. To you, I pray.
This hymn known as the Charana Shrunga Rahitha Stotram, also called the Nataraja Stotram, was composed by sage Pathanjali, the incarnation of Adi Sesha, in praise of Lord Siva in Chidambaram.
